This position is contingent upon a contract award.

The Security Guard II is a position within the security and protective service field of work.
Guards in this classification generally provide security services under some limited supervision from a Lead Security Guard.
The Security Guard II can perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent 2.
Experience:
a.
Minimum of 2 years of security/civilian law enforcement experience OR an equivalent position with the United States Armed Forces (military).
b.
One year of work experience demonstrating the ability to follow directions, meet attendance requirements and the ability to complete the training necessary to certify with the State.
3.
Certifications:
State Armed Security Guard license required.
4.
Must hold a current valid driver's license 5.
Language:
Must be fluent in speaking and writing in English.
6.
Pre-Hire Screening:
Must be able to pass criminal background screen, drug test and physical exam.
